John A. Clements, age 79, husband of Nancy (Robinson) Clements, of Elverson, PA, died suddenly in the Brandywine Hospital, Coatesville, PA on Sunday afternoon, October 12th, 2008.? Born in London, England, he was a son of the late John and Doris (Oliphant) Clements.? He received a B.Sc. from the University of London.? Mr. Clements moved to the United States in 1971.? He worked as a quality control director for the Gillette Corporation for over 23 years before retiring in 1987.?
In addition to his wife of 32 years, Mr. Clements is survived by; two daughters; Christine J. Clements, wife of Marty Stein, of Marstons Mills, MA, Elizabeth A. wife of Edward Stevenson, of Rockport, MA, five step-daughters; Maureen Piersol, Annmarie Douglas, Catherine Thibeault, Bernadette Henderson, Regina Kupferschmidt, two brothers; Owen Clements, Michael Clements, nine grandchildren, one great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews.? Funeral services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.?
