John N. Dekunchak, 70, husband of Jacqueline (Sinnott) Dekunchak, of Mont Clare, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017 in Chester County Hospital. Born on January 28, 1947 in Newark, NJ, and raised in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Mary (Rebis) and Nicholas Dekunchak.

John was just one of those goofy guys who you didn't mind having around. He cared about and put others first and was always willing to lend a hand, drive someone somewhere or lend money. He was smart, very handy and could fix anything. He was a funny guy who had a nickname for everyone. John was proud of his Russian heritage and enjoyed a good cup of coffee.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Dekunchak is survived by his daughters: Nicole Dekunchak, of Philadelphia and Kristina Dekunchak, of Bridgeport; son: Nicholas Dekunchak, of Mont Clare; grandson: Marco Correa; sister: Tina Robertozzi, of NC; and brother: Peter Dekunchak of NJ;
