John E. "Jack" Fisher, 80, husband of Elizabeth (Undercoffler) Fisher, of Royersford, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2009, in the Coatesville VA Medical Center. Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Howard and Mary (Matlack) Fisher.
Mr. Fisher was a 1948 graduate of Royersford High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed as a traffic manager for the former Phoenix Steel Corp for 30 years.
In addition to his loving wife, Mr. Fisher is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Haines, of Mont Clare, Shanlee Fisher, of Phoenixville, and Tara Fisher, of Philadelphia, two sons, Timothy Fisher, of New York, and Michael, husband of Debra Fisher, of Phoenixville, four grandchildren and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Missimer and Shirley Douglas and by his brother, James Fisher.
A celebration of Jack's life will be held a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to a charity of choice.
