John B. Gauger, age 56, of Royersford, PA, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at home. Born on April 15, 1962 in Phoenixville, PA, he was a son of the late William L. and Mary E. (Richards) Gauger.

Mr. Gauger was a graduate of Spring-Ford High School, and worked as a machinist and foreman for The Rose Corporation in Reading, PA. Prior to his illness, he found great joy in riding his Harley. An extremely talented piano player, he enjoyed not only playing, but also restoring baby grand pianos. Mr. Gauger also loved to golf, and seasonally worked on his garden at home.

Mr. Gauger is survived by three sons, William J. Gauger of Long Island City, NY and Austin R. Gauger of Royersford, PA, along with their mother Tammy Gauger and Andrew J. Jagel of Royersford, PA, along with his mother, Rachel Carter; three siblings, Bill Gauger of Casper, WY, Janice Gauger of Pottstown, PA, and Kyle Gauger of Philadelphia, PA; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Gauger was preceded in death by one sister, Jacklyn Edwards.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral ceremony at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Gil Vining. Burial will be held in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home.
