John R. "Jack" Rothenberger, Sr., age 71, husband of Charlotte M. (Arnold) Rothenberger, of Pottstown, PA died in his home Thursday evening, December 27, 2012. Born in Norristown, PA, he was a son of the late Stanley E. and Thelma A. (Gallagher) Rothenberger. He was a 1958 graduate of the Norristown High School. A veteran, Mr. Rothenberger served for the U.A. Air Force from 1960 - 1964 He worked for many years for the Sun Oil Companies Northeast Marketing Division in Aston, PA. He was a very active member of the Royersford Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife of 48 years, Mr. Rothenberger is survived by eighteen children: Jack, Jana, Hassan, Shakel, Ada, Jaquacy, Antwan, Onzie, Tavia,Donte, Jackiel, Dolores, Virginia, Andrew, Sony, Mary, Allica, Alliyah and three siblings: Betty, James, Stanley; Three Grandchildren: Kiersten Leah, Kyra. Mr. Rothenberger was pre-deceased by one son: Dennis S. Rothenberger.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Royersford Baptist Church, 452 South Lewis Road, Royersford, PA 19468 on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Karen Ann Selig. Burial will be held privately in the Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA. Friends will be received from 9:30 - 10:45 AM Thursday morning at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the "Royersford Baptist Church Fellowship Fund", at the above address.
