John W. "Jay" Belcher III, 53, husband of Wendy (Klatt) Belcher, of Phoenixville, passed away on Tuesday evening, April 28, 2009, in the Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia. Born in Port Chester, New York, he was a son of the late John W. Belcher, II and Grace (DeLong) Belcher.

A 1973 graduate of Phoenixville High School, where he enjoyed playing football and basketball and then attended Kutztown University. He was the owner of Office Installation Service, Inc., a Phoenixville based company that he built 23 years ago from the ground up into an industry leader in the Tri-State area, employing over 50 people.

Jay coached youth basketball at the YMCA and for the Stars girl's basketball team, winning multiple championships over the years. He was a huge supporter of his son's dirtbike and ATV racing career, often serving as Crew Chief.

In addition to his loving wife of 28 years, Mr. Belcher is survived by his son Jay Neil, husband of Cassi Belcher, of Pottstown, three grandchildren, Evan, Lexie, and Sidney, sister Ruth Ellen, wife of the late Jack Brewer, of North Coventry and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at the First Methodist Church of Phoenixville, 865 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, on Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Eva Johnson. Friends will be received from 6:30-8:00p.m. Monday evening at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville.
