John R. "Johnny" Martin, age 51, of Valley Forge, PA passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013 in the Manor Care in King of Prussia after receiving six months of fine care. Born in Knoxville, TN, he was a son of Richard D. and Marjorie A. (Bradley) Martin of Valley Forge, PA.
Johnny was a member of St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in Wayne, PA. He was a friend to everyone, enjoyed being around people, and just enjoyed life. He liked to travel to visit family members, and especially loved attending weddings. Johnny loved music and attending concerts, and building models, legos, and puzzles.
In addition to his parents, Johnny is survived by three siblings, Laura M. Martin and Teresa Burns of Malvern, PA, Andrew B., husband of Jeanne Martin of Mont Clare, PA, and Mary E., wife of Michael Bascome of Wayne, PA; and four nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass at the St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 50 W. Walker Road, Wayne, PA 19087 on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Stephen A. Moerman. Burial will follow in the Washington Memorial Chapel Church Yard. Friends will be received at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville on Tuesday evening, January 22, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 PM, or in the church Wednesday morning from 9:00-10:00 AM.
