Obituary

John J. Keenan Jr., age 68, of Stowe, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, November 29,2025, in the Pottstown Hospital. Born on March 14, 1957, in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Helen C. (Gross) and John J. Keenan Sr.

Jackie was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially of the Flyers. He was also a big NASCAR fan. He especially enjoyed when he could attend races at Dover Motor Speedway and Pocono Raceway. In his younger days, he enjoyed time spent camping with friends and just being in nature.

Jackie loved helping his family, friends and neighbors. Quite often, he could be heard talking about how proud he was of his nieces and nephews.

Jackie is survived by his siblings: Mary, wife of Paul Hollup, Catherine, wife of Thomas Heisner, Joan, wife of Paul Williams, Anne Keenan, Vincent, husband of Mary Jo Keenan, and Irene, wife of Chris Buckley; nineteen nieces and nephews; and seventeen great-nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his funeral Mass on Friday, December 5, 2025, at11:00 am, at Sacred Heart Church, Walnut Street and Lewis Road, Royersford. Officiating will be the Rev. Tadeusz Gorka. Friends will be received from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jackie's name to a charity of your choosing.
