John J. Lo Casale, 84, of Pottstown, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2009, in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Helen C. (Murray) Lo Casale. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Joseph and May Fitzpatrick (Shields) Lo Casale.
Mr. Lo Casale served aboard the USS Shannon DM25 in the United States Navy during World War II. He was employed as the Manufacturing Superintendent for the Crane Division at the former Morris Wheeler Corp., in Philadelphia, for 38 years. He was also a member of the Pottstown Elks Club Lodge #814 and the Pottstown American Legion Post 244.
Mr. Lo Casale is survived by two sons, Joseph T., husband of Judith Lo Casale, of Phoenixville and Robert J., husband of Cindy Lo Casale, of Glenmoore, sister, Carmela, or New Jersey, brother Fidel, of Philadelphia, eight grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 212 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA, on Tuesday, February 3, 2009, at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Gary J. Kramer. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, PA. Friends will be received on Monday evening from 7:00-8:30 p.m. and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville.
