With heavy hearts we announce the passing of John L. Maresca Jr., 49 of Spring City, PA. John passed peacefully into the arms of God, at home surrounded by his family on June 28, 2025, after an inspiring and faith-filled battle with cancer.
John was a dedicated husband to his life-long love and best friend Lisa (Luise) Maresca and a truly devoted father to his three remarkable children, Jonathan F. Maresca, Jena I. Maresca, and Joshua A. Maresca. The family that John and Lisa created together was everything to him and he lived every day knowing how blessed he was.
Born on May 14, 1976, in Brooklyn, New York, he was a son of Gloria (Brognano) Maresca and the late John L. Maresca Sr.
John was a proud veteran, having served honorably in the United States Army 82nd Airborne Division in Iraq and Afghanistan during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He was part of the Army's Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Unit.
As a devout Christian, John was actively involved at Trinity Lighthouse Church in Royersford. John's unwavering faith guided him through life and his pure love of Jesus positively radiated from him. His life was a bold testament to the power of God's grace.
John leaves behind a legacy of faith, strength, love and resilience. He will be missed by the countless number of friends that had the privilege to know and love him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA. His funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 11:00 am, at Trinity Lighthouse Church, 66 S. Limerick Road, Royersford, PA. Rev. Wayne Houck will be officiating.
