John Luther Moore, age 89, loving husband of Nancy (Reed) Moore, of Linfield, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Pottstown Hospital - Tower Health. Born on January 7, 1930 in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Luther and Clementine (Winings) Moore.

Jack served his country proudly by enlisting with the U.S. Navy in 1948 at the age of 18. He would later go on to work for over 22 years for Stanley Tools where he was the president of the Union. Mr. Moore also worked for many years at Birdsboro Steel. John was also a member of the Phoenixville Senior Center. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather, and dear friend to all and he will be missed by many.

In addition to his loving wife, Mr. Moore is survived by his daughter, Roxanne; his two sons, Scott, and Jerry; five loving grandchildren; five loving great-grandchildren, and one loving great-great grandchild.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, Pennsylvania on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Paul W. Thornhill. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Thursday at the Funeral Home. A luncheon will follow the services at the Linfield U.C.C Church, 25 Reformed Rd, Linfield, PA 19468. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
