John Pizii, age 58, husband of Barbara A. (Beitler) Pizii, of Lower Pottsgrove, PA. died early Sunday morning, July 19, 2009 in his home. Born in Glenmoore, PA, he was a son of the late Louis A., and Dorothy (Miller) Pizii. Mr. Pizii attended the Downingtown High School. A veteran, he served for the U.S. National Guard. Mr. Pizii worked as a mason for the Clair Koser builders in Glenmoore. He also worked as a bartender for many years at the Pottstown Moose. More recently, he was working as a driver and in the maintenance department of the Tri-County Toyota dealership in Limerick, PA. He was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church in Spring City for many years.
In addition to his wife of 19 years, Mr. Pizii is survived by One Step-Daughter; Lynne E. Walleigh, of Spring City, One Step-Son; Daniel H., husband of Gail Walleigh, of Reading, PA, Three Sisters; Patricia A., wife of Art Leanard, Linda L. Stringer, Mary Jane, wife of Robert Dickson, Two Brothers; Louis A. Pizii, Jr., husband of Peggy Pizii, Mario C., husband of Linda Pizii, One Step-Granddaughter; Gabrielle L. Walleigh, and several nieces and nephews..
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at the Bethel United Methodist Church, 952 Bethel Church Road, Spring City, PA 19475 on Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Jacqueline Hines. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received from 10:00 - 10:45 AM, Saturday morning at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in his name to the Bethel U.M.
