John Rinehart entered into the presence of Jesus on Thursday, December 19,2024. He was born in Pottstown, PA on October 24, 1935 to John Howard Rinehart, Sr and Edna (Moyer) Rinehart.

John was a 1953 graduate of Pottstown High School. He was active in the machine shop course. He served in the United States Air Force for 10 years. His numerous military assignments include several years in Japan and Newfoundland. He received an Honorable Discharge in 1963 as a Tech Sergeant.

Before retiring in the Lehigh Valley area, John's field of work was in Tele-Communitcations in Baltimore and the Lehigh Valley areas.

He is survived by his wife of almost 7 years, Shirley Meyers Rinehart; son, John Curtis Rinehart, of South Carolina; brothers William Rinehart of Pottstown, David Rinehart of Virginia; grandchildren, Ashley, Hunter, Gabrielle, Logann and Ian; 5 great grandchildren; several step children and many nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Eileen Kathryn (Endy) Rinehart and daughter, Judith Louise.

A memorial service will be held at Berean Bible Church, 2675 E. High St., Pottstown, PA 19464, on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 11 am. Friends and relatives will be received from 10-11 am.
