John A. "Rock" Rokita, 62, husband of Roberta L. "Bobbie" (Houser) Rokita, of Lower Pottsgrove, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville. Born on March 22, 1956 in Norristown, he was a son of John A. Rokita, Jr., of Sanford, FL and the late Theresa (Battaglio) Rokita.

Rock enjoyed going to the movies and dining out. He also enjoyed grilling, "smoking up the BBQ" and having people over for cookouts. First and foremost, he loved time spent around his wife, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling; especially family trips to Wildwood. His family was the highlight of his life.

In addition to his loving wife and father, Rock is survived by his children: Michelle L., wife of Stephen Reed, of Gilbertsville and John A. Rokita, IV and wife Kelli, of Gilbertsville; grandchildren: Matthew Reed, Kiley Rokita, Tommy Rokita and Zachary Reed; and siblings: Theresa Haines, Mark Rokita, Marti Mosley and Micki Murphy. He was preceded in death by sisters: Andrea Lock and Nancy Lopez.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 11:00 am, at the New Hanover United Methodist Church, 2211 Swamp Pike, Gilbertsville.
