John H. "Jack" Singleton, age 82, husband of Sara A. (Shearer) Singleton, of Exton, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 in his residence. Born on February 25, 1939 in Norristown, he was a son of the late Helen (Getzey) and Harry Singleton.

Jack was employed as a commercial air conditioning and refrigeration technician and had been a 45 year member of the Steamfitters Local Union 420 and the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada.

Most of his adult life, Jack had been interested in drum and bugle corps and instructing high school bands. He performed with Archer Epler senior drum and corps of Upper Darby but one of his biggest thrills was performing on the trumpet in Carnegie Hall in New York City. Jack was also actively involved with the Spring-Ford High School Marching Band as Drill Instructor, as well as Color Guard Instructor for the indoor color guard competitions. He also served as a judge for the senior high school band competitions, Cavalcade of Bands.

Jack was an avid hunter and golfer and enjoyed traveling all over the world.

In addition to his loving wife, Jack is survived by his daughters: Joanne, wife of Dennis Reagan, of Linfield and Suzanne S., wife of Bradley Oliver, of Exton; grandchildren: Corey Reagan, Shawn Reagan, wife-Marissa Reagan, Matthew Oliver, wife-Eileen Oliver and Andrew Oliver; great-granddaughters: Ava and Harper Reagan; sisters: Joan Detwiler, Patricia Chendorain and Margaret Phillips; brother: Harry Singleton, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
