John F. Steimer, 86, husband of Joyce E. (Daniels) Steimer, of Kimberton, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 in his residence. Born on April 19, 1931 in Cincinnati, OH, he was a son of the late Harold and Clarysse (Reinhardt) Steimer.

John was founder and owner of Steimer and Co., Inc., Kimberton. He was a member of the F&AM and the Shriners, of Reading. He was a private pilot for many years. John enjoyed aviation, boating and working on his many projects.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Steimer is survived by two sons: John F. Steimer, Jr., of Rock Hall, MD and James A. Steimer, of Kimberton; two brothers: William, husband of Norma Jean Steimer, of MD and Robert, husband of Suzanne Steimer, of FL; Four Grandchildren; Four Great-Grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother: Harold, wife of Adele Steimer, of DE.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Donald B. Eisenhauer. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home.
