John W. “Jack” Walters, husband of Margaret L. (Wallace) Walters, and the late Edna (Walker) Walters, of Pottstown, PA, died early Tuesday morning, January 20, 2015 in the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Born in Royersford, he was a son of the late Edwin and Stella (Overdorf) Walters. He was a crane operator and the Cann and Saul Steel Plant in Royersford for many years.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Walters is survived by one daughter: Brenda L. McCarraher, of Pottstown, PA; two grandchildren: five siblings; Mr. Walters was pre-deceased by two children and six siblings:

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at the First United Church of Christ, 145 Chestnut Street, Spring City, PA 19475 on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 12PM. Officiating will be the Rev. Erick J. Kern, Jr. Friends will be received from 11-12PM Wednesday morning at the Church. Burial will be held privately in the Fernwood Cemetery, Royersford, PA.
