Joseph C. Ball, age 74, husband of Kathryn M. (Ruth) Ball, of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015 in the Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Raymond and Anna (Huston) Ball.

Mr. Ball retired from the United States Marine Corps, where he served several tours in Vietnam and rose in rank to Gunnery Sergeant. Following the military, he worked at both the Phoenixville and Southeastern Post Offices, and most recently as a facilities manager for the Chester County Intermediate Unit. Mr. Ball served on the board of the Covered Bridge Crossing neighborhood, where he enjoyed spending time with his neighbors and walking the dogs.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Ball is survived by four children, Patty Lasch, Anna O'Donnell, Joseph C. Ball II, and Nadelle, wife of Michael Kijewski; one brother, Daniel Ball; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10:30-11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
