Joseph Preston Coakley, 41, husband of Linda (Manze) Coakley, of Phoenixville, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2010, in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Norristown, he is a son of Raymond H. Coakley Jr., of Everett, and Marjorie (Heidler) Coakley, of Phoenixville.

Mr. Coakley enjoyed traveling to Jamaica, yard work and gardening, but most important to him was the love he shared with his grandchildren.

In addition to his loving wife, with whom he spent 14 1/2 years, he is survived by: two daughters: Carolyn Anne wife of Kevin McCool, of Newtown and Joette Lyn Mullen, of Phoenixville; son: George Robert IV husband of Katie Mullen, of Stowe; brother: Raymond H. Coakley III, of Douglassville; four grandchildren; three nieces; and one nephew. He was preceded in death by a brother: Michael Dwayne Coakley; and one grandchild.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, on Thursday, October 14, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Michael W. Rzonca. Interment will follow in the Washington Memorial Chapel Churchyard. Friends will be received from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
