Obituary

Joseph James Dunyak, age 93, of Phoenixville, PA died late Saturday night,
June 11, 2011 in the Golden Living Center, Phoenixville, PA. Born in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Dunyak.

He was a 1939 graduate of the Phoenixville High School. He worked in the shipping department of the Superior Tube Company in Collegeville, retiring in 1969. Mr. Dunyak attended the Phoenixville Senior Center and was a life member of the Phoenixville Fire Company and the Phoenixville Moose. He loved to bowl and was a Philadelphia City Bowling Champion. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Phillies and horse racing.

Mr. Dunyak is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by one sister; Ann Dunyak, and four brothers; Nicholas, Andrew, Michael, and his twin S. Louis Dunyak.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the St.
Ann's Chapel, 602 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Thursday,
June 16, 2011 at 12:00 PM. Officiating will be the Rev. John J. Newns. Burial
will be in the St. Ann Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10:30 -11:30 Thursday morning at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, 1620 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
