Obituary

Joseph W. Frock, Jr., husband of Margaret "Peg" (Barrett) Shettel Frock, of Cape Coral, FL, formerly of Spring City, PA died Monday evening January 28, 2013 in his home in Florida after a lengthy illness. Born in Phoenixville, PA, he was a son of the late Joseph W. Frock, Sr. and Dorothy M. (White) Urban. Mr. Frock attended the Phoenixville High School. A veteran, he served for the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Frock owned the Penn Erectors in Spring City. He then owned and operated the Coach Stop Inn in Wellsboro, PA for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, boating and was a licensed pilot.

In addition to his wife of 18 years, Mr. Frock is survived by three daughters: Alice E., wife of Joseph C. Frisco, of Phoenixville; Janice E., wife of Michael E. Antosh, of Upper Pottsgrove, PA; Joann M., wife of Richard A. Beard, Jr., of Birdsboro, PA; three step-children: Stephanie C., wife of Bryan M. Krohn, of New Orleans, LA; Nicholas E. Shettel, of Charlottesville, VA; Rebecca S., wife of James R. "Jay" Williams, of Philadelphia, PA; three siblings: Warren Frock, of Phoenixville, PA; Patricia, wife of Frank "Skip" Miller, of Exeter, PA; Barbara, wife of the late Robert Rowland, of Birchrunville, PA; eight grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Zion Lutheran Church, 39 Bonnie Brae Road, Spring City, PA 19475 on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Paul D. Townsend. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Church from 10:00 - 10:45 AM on Monday morning. There will also be a memorial service announced at a later date in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Wellsboro, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Hope Hospice, 9470 Health Park Circle, Ft. Meyers, FL 33908 or to the Zion Lutheran Church at the above address.
