Obituary

Joseph G. Drabick, age 68, loving husband of Carol Sue (Dunn) Drabick, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025. Born on December 23, 1956 in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late Edward R. and Esther M. (Schwab) Drabick.

Joe was a 1974 graduate of Phoenixville High School. His career led him to the custodial department at Johnson Controls in Collegeville and Malvern, and most recently to the Technical College High School - Pickering Campus in Phoenixville, where he retired from.

Joe regularly attended Valley Forge Baptist in Collegeville, and he was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Phoenixville. In the past, he coached sports at PMYC and the Phoenixville Civic Center, and he enjoyed bowling in leagues at Phoenix Lanes. He was a member of the Polish Club where he enjoyed playing cards. Joe could oftentimes be seen spending time around town, and most importantly spending time with his loving family.

In addition to his wife, Joe is survived by two step-daughters, Shelley (Timothy) Cormican and Laurie (Jeff) Bell; seven step-grandchildren, Carrie (Joshua), Tara (Andrew), Cinthia, Kelly, Ryan (Geraline), Rachel (Eder), and Jeffrey Jr. (Denise); many step-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Kate (Dave) Viglione, Amy (John) Griffiths, and Joan (Joe) Liaschenko; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four siblings, Peter Drabick, John Drabick, Mark Drabick, and Mary Taroski.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at Valley Forge Baptist, 616 S. Trappe Road, Collegeville, PA on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM. The service will be livestreamed by visiting VFBT.live. Officiating will be Rev. Scott E. Wendal. Burial will follow in the St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. Friends will be received from 9:00 AM-10:45 AM at the Church on Tuesday morning. Arrangements are being handled by the Campbell - Ennis - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Phoenixville, PA.
