Joseph P. Galie, age 66, husband of Mary T. (Shockloss) Galie, of Phoenixville, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014 in the John Hopkins University Hospital, Baltimore, MD. Born in Norristown, he was a son of the late Peter J. and Mary T. (Schrader) Galie.

Mr. Galie is survived by three children, Kristin, wife of Dan Phipps of Chester Springs, Karen Galie of Phoenixville, and Joseph Galie of Phoenixville; seven brothers, Peter (Phyllis) Galie, David Galie, John (Jolene) Galie, Frank (Mary) Galie, Richard (Maureen) Galie, Jerome (Pam) Galie, and James (Nancy) Galie; three granddaughters, Ava, Olivia, and Cora Phipps; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas, Anthony, and Larry Galie.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass at St. Basil the Great Roman Catholic Church, 2300 Kimberton Road, Kimberton, PA 19442 on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the St. Ann Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville on Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 7:00-9:00 PM and at the church Friday morning from 9:30-10:45 AM.
