Joseph W. Godri, 93, of Douglassville, formerly of Royersford, PA, died on Thursday morning at Villa at Morlatton where he last resided. He was widower of Geraldine (DiSantis) Godri.
He was born in Devault, a son of the late Gaspar and Sarolta Godri. Mr. Godri attended Tredyffrin-Easttown High School and served in the US Navy during World War II. Joe retired as a First Class Utility Personnel from the Pickering Creek Pumping Station.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Phoenixville, PA. He enjoyed watching his grandsons play sports, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by two sons: Joseph J. Godri and wife Judith, of Pottstown and John A. Godri and wife Marjorie, of Eagleville; grandchildren: Joseph and Michael Godri and Danica Wrench; great-grandchild, Michael. He was also preceded in death by daughters: Andrea and Mary Louise Godri; seven sisters and one brother.
