Joseph T. Koneski, age 80, husband of Shirley J. (Tyson) Koneski, of Schwenksville, PA died Monday afternoon, April 26, 2010 in the Coatesville VA Hospice Center. Born in Linfield, PA, he was a son of the late George and Annie Koneski. He was a graduate of the former Royersford High School. A veteran, Mr. Koneski served as a Marine during the Korean War. Mr. Koneski owned and operated the J & S Auto Paint Company in Pottstown since 1986. He was past president of the Central Perkiomen Valley Rotary Club. The club purchased the current baseball field that they still own and operate during his term of presidency. He was a life member of the National VFW.

In addition to his wife of 56 years, Mr. Koneski is survived by four children; Randy J., husband of Debbie Koneski, of East Greenville, Renee Harris, wife of Richard Dotterer, of Schwenksville, Michele C. Koneski, of Schwenksville, Gina C., wife of Jerry Keeler, of Boyertown, PA, one sister; Sophia Pacana, of Florida, seven grandchildren; Mindy, Scott, Ericka, Monicka, Cody, Christopher, Dominika, seven great grandchildren; Zachary, Adrianna, Dominic, Nora, Nicholas, Jacob and Rayanne. Mr. Koneski was pre-deceased by four siblings; Walter Koneski, Stephanie Sheffield, Helen Koneski, and Edward Koneski.

Funeral services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
