Joseph P. LoBiondo, Sr., 88, husband of the late Joan M. (McNichols) LoBiondo, of Trappe, formerly Roxborough, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in Abington Health Center - Warminster. Born on February 24, 1929 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Vincenza (Buttacavoli) and Salvatore LoBiondo.
Mr. LoBiondo was a graduate of the former St. John's High School, in Philadelphia and served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He had been employed as a salesman for over 30 years for Star Stainless Screw Company.
Joseph enjoyed time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Mr. LoBiondo is survived by his sons: Joseph P. Jr., husband of Pamela LoBiondo, of Trappe, Christopher, husband of Deborah LoBiondo, of Schwenksville, and Timothy, husband of Heather LoBiondo, of Galloway, NJ; grandchildren: Isabel, Emily, Jack, Caroline, Ryan and Dominic LoBiondo; and brother: Thomas LoBiondo, of KY. He was preceded in death by a brother: John LoBiondo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the his funeral mass at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lewis Road and Walnut Street, Royersford, on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 10:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Peter J. DiMaria. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken. Friends will be received from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm Friday evening at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford and from 8:30 am - 9:30 am at the Church. Memorial contributions may be made in Joseph's name to St. John the Baptist Alumni Association, 146 Rector Street, Philadelphia, PA 19127.
