Obituary

Joseph "Joe" Logue, 48, of Phoenixville, PA passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 11, 2023. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Catherine (Morrow) Logue for 18 years, and the proud father of Daniel William and Michael Joseph. Born on September 8, 1975, he was the dear son of the late William Sr. and Patricia (Fitz-Gerald) Logue, and a brother of William Jr. (Philadelphia), Shane (Levittown), Daniel (Wilson, NC), and the late Terrence (citizen of the World). Joe was also an Uncle of Tyquon, Sarah, Emily, Mikayla, Elizabeth, Maria, Erica, and Roman, and is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Joe was a Graduate of The Philadelphia High School for Creative & Performing Arts (CAPA) and Temple University, where he earned a degree in History, one of his favorite topics to discuss over the dinner table. His creative background brought him to the field of carpentry and he was co-owner of Creative Carpentry of Pennsylvania specializing in custom cabinetry, building and remodeling at the time of his passing.

Family was of utmost importance to Joe. He kept in touch daily with his three remaining brothers and always found time to meet up with them for an early morning breakfast at a local diner. But most of all, his love for Catherine and his boys could not be surpassed. They always came first in anything he did. Yardwork could always wait, unless Daniel was by his side with a leaf blower or rake. His evenings and weekends were devoted to the boys and their interests whether it be their sports teams, cub scouts, a school event or a quiet afternoon playing video games.

Joe was a lifelong lover of Philly sports teams- especially the Eagles! Sunday afternoons during football season always revolved around the Eagles schedule and spending quality family time with his brothers and his boys cheering them on. By way of Catherine, he developed an interest in Villanova basketball even though basketball was not one of his favorite sports. He dropped everything for an opportunity to shoot hoops in the driveway, throw a football or baseball in the yard, or go for a walk with the boys while they rode their bike or scooter.

To say he will be missed by so many is an understatement. The world truly has lost one of the best and we are blessed to have known him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass in the St. Ann Catholic Church, 502 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 11:00 am.
