Joseph Russell Lutz, age 54, husband of the late April Lutz, of Pottstown, PA, died Tuesday, December 19, 2017 in Pottstown Hospital - Tower Health.

Born on April 9, 1963 in Norristown, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the Robert Lutz and Wilma (Carfagno) Swartley. Mr. Lutz worked as a Director of Community Service for Montgomery County before retiring. He worked part-time in security at The Hill School. He was former volunteer at Limerick Fire Company.

Mr. Lutz is survived by Two Sons, Duane Nihart, Stuart Delil; Two Daughters, Kailyn Lutz, Alicia Lutz; Two Sisters, Sharon (Thomas) Faust of Coudersport, PA, Jennifer (Joseph) Gill of Fleetwood, PA; Two Brothers, Derrick Lutz, Anthony (late Sherry) Murphy; 2 Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews. He was predeceased by a Brother, David Murphy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, Pennsylvania on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 10:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. James Roth. Burial will be held in the Parker Ford Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends will be received from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday and 9-10 am Saturday.
