Joseph F. Nash, age 86, husband of Mary (Fiorentino) Nash, of Limerick, PA, formerly of Collegeville, PA died peacefully early Friday morning, October 7, 2011 in his home surrounded by his family. Born in Bridgeport, PA, he was a son of the late John T. and Anna (Dever) Nash. He was a graduate of the St. Thomas More High School in Philadelphia. He attended the Mt. St. Mary's University in Emmitsburg, MD. A veteran, he proudly served for the U.S. Marine Corps as a Staff Sgt. in the Pacific during World War II. Mr. Nash worked as a route supervisor for many years at the Morabito Baking Company in Norristown, retiring in 1987. He was a very active member of the St. Eleanor Roman Catholic Church in Collegeville. He served on the pastoral council, as an usher and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. After his retirement, he and his wife led the Rosary at the Columbia Cottage facility in Trappe for the residents. Mr. Nash was an avid collector of antique clocks and was proud of his lifetime membership in Bridgeport Fire Co #1. He was a devoted husband all of his life. He adored the time he could spend with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife of 57 years, Mr. Nash is survived by three children; Judith A. (Paul) Fleming, of Audubon, Deborah, wife of the late William B. Miller, Jr., of Pottstown, Joseph P. (Denise) Nash, of West Grove, PA, one brother; James V., Nash, of Limerick, PA, six grandchildren: Moira Kelly (Fleming) and Megan Fleming, William Miller, Jaclyn, Joey, and Jacob Nash, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Nash was pre-deceased by two brothers; John J. Nash, William E. Nash, and one sister, Mary Light-Lanigan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at St. Eleanor's R.C. Church 647 Locust street, Collegeville, PA 19426 on Tuesday morning, October 11, 2011 at 10:30 AM. Officiating will be Rev, Msgr. Patrick E. Sweeney. Burial will be in the St. Augustine's Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA. Friends will be received from 8:30 - 10:15 AM Tuesday at the Church. In lieu of flowers, mass cards will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to the Montgomery Hospital Hospice Program, 25 West Fornance Street, Norristown, PA 19401.
