A Memorial Mass is planned to remember Joseph A. Puleo, Jr., who died October 4, 2008.? The service is scheduled for Wednesday, November 12, 2008.? It will take place in the St. Ann. R.C. Chapel, 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA.? The family will receive guests from 8:30AM - 9:45AM.? The Mass will begin at 10AM.?
Mr. Puleo was a 1962 graduate of ?Bishop Kenrick High School in Norristown.? He then graduated with a B.S. in Real Estate and Insurance from the Pennsylvania State University and was an avid Penn State football booster.?
In 1962, Mr. Puleo obtained his Real Estate License, and was partner / owner of J. Puleo & Sons Real Estate.? In 1967 he obtained his Real Estate Brokers License.? He was partner / owner of the J. Puleo & Sons Real Estate for over 44 years.? In 1989 he was selected as the Outstanding Realtor of the Year by the Chester County Association of Realtors.?
Mr. Puleo was very active member of the Phoenixville Community.? He was a commiteeman for Schuylkill Twp., served on the Board of Directors for PAEDCO, was a member of the Phoenixville Rotary Club and a board of trustee of the Phoenixville Community Health Foundation.? Mr. Puleo was a former president of the Phoenixville Jaycee's, the Phoenixville Historical Society, The Phoenixville Chamber of Commerce, the Tri-County Multiple Listing Service, and the Chester County Association of Realtors, the third largest association in the state.? He was an active member of the St. Ann R.C. Church in Phoenixville.? He a Eucharistic Minister, and served on the church finance council.?
In addition to his wife, Mr. Puleo is survived by three sons; Joseph A. Puleo, III, Dennis J. Puleo, Kevin T. Puleo, two brothers, ?and three grandchildren; Gabriel J., Anna T., and Sophia R. Puleo all at home in Phoenixville.?
