Joseph F. Raquet, age 86, husband of the late Margaret M. (Bennett) Raquet, of East Coventry, formerly of Royersford, PA, died Monday afternoon, September 24th, 2007 in the Manatawny Manor Nursing Home, East Coventry, PA.? Born in Royersford, he was a son of the late Philip R. and Irene D. (O'Brien) Raquet.? Mr. Raquet attended school in Royersford.? He worked for many years as a manager for the shipping department of the Spring City Knitting Company.? An avid golfer, Mr. Raquet was a former member of the Spring - Ford Country Club.? He was also a recreational pilot.? ?
Mr. Raquet is survived by one sister; Irene K., wife of the late John Lysoby, of Kimberton, PA, and several nieces and nephews.?? Mr. Raquet was pre-deceased by two sisters; Mary Keck, Lorraine Freed, and two brothers; Philip and William Raquet.? ?Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Monday morning, October 1st, 2007 at 10:30AM.? Burial will be in the Fernwood Cemetery, Royersford.?? Friends will be received from 10:00 - 10:30 AM, Monday morning at the funeral home.?
