Joseph F. Riordan, age 73, of Royersford, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022 in Phoenixville Hospital. Born on September 21, 1949 in NYC, he was the son of the late Valencia (Hampton) and Joseph Riordan.

Joseph graduated from Manhattan College in New York. He began his career in sales for the Del Monte Corp and the Kernite Chemical Company before working for several companies in the mechanical and construction industry including Air & Pump, Herman Goldner Co., Inc. and Willard Inc. where he did HVAC sales and service, and most recently, Skanska, where he worked in commissioning and project management.

Joseph held his friendships closest to his heart and was always available to lend an ear, share a meal or drink and bring laughter to all those that he crossed paths with. He was most proud of his children and grandchildren who love their "Gramps" dearly.

Joseph is survived by his children, Erin Bittenbender (Drew) of Royersford, PA and Chris Riordan (Heather Micene) of Phoenixville, PA, as well as his grandchildren Jack and Logan Bittenbender, and his sisters Maureen Norris (Richard) of Louisville, KY and Regina Murphy (Timothy) of Harrisburg, PA, in addition to a niece, Kristen, and three nephews, Brian, Mark and Evan, all of whom he loved greatly. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Calleigh Hope Bittenbender.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Joe’s life on Saturday, January 28th from 12:00 - 3:00 pm at the Great American Pub, 148 Bridge St. Phoenixville, PA 19460.
