Obituary

Joy L. (Conklin) Heffline, 83, of Royersford, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2009, in Clare Bridge at High Point Place, High Point, North Carolina. She was the wife of the late Robert "Bob" Heffline, a former minor league baseball player, who passed away in 1986. Born in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Edna (Dowhower) Conklin.

Mrs. Heffline was a member of Grace Assembly of God, Spring City, PA, and was a very active participant in Church ministry throughout her adult life. She was a long time volunteer counselor for the Christian Broadcasting Network and retired from Vanguard in the administrative offices.

Mrs. Heffline is survived by two sons, Dale W. Heffline, of Bloomsburg, PA, and Darryl J., husband of Dana Heffline, of Evans, GA, two grandchildren, Ashlyn Laura Heffline and Nathan T. Heffline. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Pamela Gail Heffline, her son Dennis Heffline, in 2002, two brothers, Herman Jr. and Jack Conklin, and grandson, Jason Paul Heffline.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA, on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Paul W. Thornhill. Interment will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
