Obituary

Judith Anne (Kellum) Sweigart, age 58, wife of L. Anthony Sweigart, of Royersford, PA died suddenly in the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia, PA on Tuesday afternoon, April 21, 2009. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Eleanor (Kline) Kellum. She worked as a teacher in Ohio and for the Creative Beginnings Learning Center in Evansburg. Mrs. Sweigart, more recently, worked in the Pharmacy at the Giant Supermarket in Royersford. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels in Pottstown and the Parkhouse Providence Pointe Nursing Home in Upper Providence. She was a member of the Bible Fellowship Church in Royersford.

In addition to her husband of 8 years, Mrs. Sweigart is survived by one daughter; Ellen E. Sweigart, at home, two brothers; James Kellum, of Temple, PA, Jeffrey Kellum, of Washington D.C., one sister; Jo, wife of Bruce Hayes, of Titusville, FL, three nieces; Lauren, Stacy, and Jessica, one nephew; Michael.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at the Bible Fellowship Church of Royersford, 431 N. Lewis Road, Royersford, PA 19468 on Friday, April 24, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Jacob J. Susek. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received from 3:45-4:45 p.m. Friday at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her name to the Meals on Wheels, 933 North Charlotte Street, #1A, Pottstown, PA 19464, or to the Bible Fellowship Church at the above address.
