Julia (Pete) Hilborn, 89, widow of the late Ralph W. Hilborn Sr., of Sanatoga, formerly Royersford, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2010, in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth (Gombos) Pete.

Mrs. Hilborn was a devoted member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was involved in many aspects. She was a very active resident of Royersford, volunteering in the community with organizations such as Meals On Wheels and the Women's Club of Royersford.

Mrs. Hilborn is survived by her daughter, Judi, wife of Ken Whitman, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, two sons, Ralph W. Jr., husband of Kathy Hilborn, of Shoemakersville, and Robert A., husband of Helen Hilborn, of Elmhurst Twp., three sisters, Betty Godri and Helen Dougherty, of Phoenixville and Esther O'Leary, of Royersford, sister-in-law, Jean Pete, of Phoenixville, eleven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Andrew and Alexander Pete.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Main Street at Sixth Avenue, Royersford, on Saturday, August 21, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Janelle L. Krais officiating. Interment will follow in the Fernwood Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Church.
