Julia (Kovacs) March, age 90, wife of the late Edward I. March, Jr., of Upper Providence, formerly of Phoenixville, PA, where she lived all of her life, died Tuesday morning, January 22, 2007 in the Parkhouse Providence Pointe? in Upper Providence.? Born in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of the late John and Kathleen (Jancik) Kovacs.? Mrs. March attended school in Phoenixville.? She retired from the B.F. Goodrich Manufacturing company in Oaks.? She then began working at the Danco Dye and Tool Company for 12 years.? She retired from the Montgomery County Geriatric and Rehabilitation Center, in 1987.? ??
She was a charter member of the Manavon Chapter #496, Order of the Eastern Star.? She was a member of the St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Phoenixville.? Recently she had been attending the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Phoenixville.? Mrs. March was a? member of the AARP and the Senior center in Phoenixville.? She was also a member of the Kimberton Fire Company's Auxilliary.? ??
Mrs. March is survived by many nieces and nephews.? She was pre-deceased by all of her brothers and sisters.? ??Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 355 St. John's Circle, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Friday morning, January 25th, 2008 at 10:30AM.? Officiating will be the Rev. Cynthia L. Krommes.? Burial will be in the Morris Cemetery.? Friends will be received from 9:30 - 10:15 Friday at the Church.? Memorial gifts may be made in her name to the St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 143 Church Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 or to the St. John's E.L. Church at the above address.?
