Julio Joseph "Jules" Panetta, 72, husband of Mary (Chaffee) Panetta, of Royersford, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2009, in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Norristown, he was a son of the late Marino and Vincenza (Panciocchi) Panetta.

Mr. Panetta was a delicatessen operator and sales representative for several macaroni companies and a Church sexton for various local churches. He was a member of the Spring City American Legion Thomas W. O'Conner Post #602.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Panetta is survived by his daughter, Maureen Sonderschafer, of Norristown, three sons, Christopher Panetta, of Indianapolis, IN, Matthew, husband of Jessica Panetta, of Browns Mills, NJ, and David Panetta, at home, grandchildren, Greg, Megan, Cory, and Kevin of Warrington and Stella Marie Panetta of Browns Mills, sisters, Anne Nicolene, of Wayne, and Rita Panetta, of Norristown, and brother, Valentine Panetta, of New Orleans, LA. He was preceded in death by brothers, Tony, Tom, Jim, and Herbie Panetta

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at the Royersford Baptist Church, 452 S. Lewis Road, Royersford, on Saturday, May 9, 2009, at 1:30 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Karen Selig. Friends will be received from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Church.
