June (Spieth) Henzie, age 91, wife of the late Gerald B. Henzie for 63 years at the time of his passing in 2017, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at her home in Spring City, where she resided since 1954. She was born on June 21, 1933 in Royersford, PA, and was a daughter of the late William and Adelaide (Holz) Spieth.

June Henzie graduated from the Phoenixville High School, class of 1951, where she served as class treasurer and arranged the class reunions. With 39 straight wins, she was on the championship basketball team, a member of the softball team, and was a cheerleader.

She was employed as a bookkeeper by C. Raymond Davis in Kimberton for six years, Phoenix Building & Construction in Phoenixville for twenty-two years, and CMC Engineering in Phoenixville for six years.

June was an active, lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Phoenixville, PA, serving on the music and worship committees for a number of years. She was also a Sunday School teacher and was the usher coordinator each week for 17 years for the early church service.

For a number of years, she coached two softball teams at the Phoenixville YMCA, was part of a bowling league at the Phoenix Lanes in Phoenixville, and she was a die-hard Phillies fan.

June is survived by two daughters, Sandra, wife of Stuart Williamson of Bechtelsville, PA and Lori, wife of the late David Jones of Mohnton, PA; two grandchildren, Lindsey Jones and Brandon, husband of Olivia Jones; three great-grandchildren, Brantley Scott, Nathaniel and Eliana Jones; her identical twin sister, Joan Carl of Phoenixville, PA; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Howard Fremmerlid, William Spieth, and George Spieth; and two sisters, Helen Manney and Ruth "Daisy" Custer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service in the St. John's Lutheran Church, 355 St. John's Circle, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 11:00 am. A visitation with family will take place in the church from 9:30 am - 10:45 am. Burial will take place on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 pm in the Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 E. Arcadia Drive, Limerick, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the St. John's Lutheran Church at the address above.
