Karen Lynn (Greenway) Gaylord, age 59, wife of Frederick C. "Rick" Gaylord, of Pottstown, PA, passed away Tuesday evening, July 19, 2016 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, Pottstown, PA. Karen was born on May 20, 1957 in Brooklyn, New York, to the military family of the late Thomas and Sally (Byrd) Greenway. Karen grew up in Fort Pierce, Florida, where she had earned a College degree in secretarial management and worked at the St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant as a professional secretary and office manager.

Karen is survived by her husband,Rick, the love her life and her of his!

Karen is also survived by her daughter Michelle M. Ellard and grandchildren Tristin, Isabel, and Enrique of Elkin, NC, her daughter Cheryl A. Johnston and grandchildren Kelly and Emily, and her daughter Rebecca E. Gaylord and grandchildren R.J and Abigail of Baton Rouge, LA. Karen's sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Grady Aycock, live in the Brooklet/Statesboro area of Georgia. Karen was pre-deceased by her brother Thomas Greenway.

Karen loved, was loved by, and will be greatly missed by an extensive family of in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends … and even acquaintances from New York City and around the country.
