Karen Denise (Fort) Meister, age 67, of Malvern, PA went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Paoli Hospital. Born in Phoenixville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles M. and Ruth L. (Mengel) Fort.
Mrs. Meister is survived by her husband Richard; daughters Kelly, wife of Norman Billhime Jr., Phoenixville, and Rebecca, at home; sons, Jason, husband of Krista Meister, Barto and Joshua, husband of Stephanie Meister, Pottstown. Mrs. Meister is also survived by six grandchildren, Nathan and Kaitlyn Billhime, and kayla, Kylee, Jayden, and Johnathan Meister; three brothers, Donald, husband of Nancy Fort, Phoenixville, Noel, husband of Lynda Fort, Orlando, FL, and Douglas, husband of Sheryl Fort, North Carolina. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Meister was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Fort.
Mrs. Meister was a graduate of Methacton High School, and attended Baptist Bible College, Clarks Summit, PA. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Meister was an active member of Pawling Independent Baptist Church, Phoenixville, where in the past she enjoyed being in the choir, singing solos, and contributing to special music. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren, attending their sporting events, concerts, and plays.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral ceremony at the Pawling Independent Baptist Church, 400 Pawlings Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 12:00 PM. Officiating will be Pastor Rogers H. Bowyer. Burial will be held privately. Friends will be received at the church from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the church at the address above. Arrangements are being handled by the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Phoenixville, PA.
