Karen H. Oncay, wife of Richard E. Oncay Jr., of Spring City, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020 in the Sanatoga Center. Born on August 10, 1958 in Phoenixville, PA, she was a daughter of Irma (Emmell) Hemighaus of Spring City, PA and the late Robert W. Hemighaus Sr.

Mrs. Oncay was a graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School, and served as Class President. She worked as a special education teacher's aide for the Owen J. Roberts school district. She enjoyed history, researching the history of Owen J. Roberts school district, and publishing a book on the history of Justice Owen J. Roberts. For her work, she was a recipient of the Community Service Award from OJR. She loved gardening, flowers, and traveling to Cape May to see the lighthouses.

In addition to her husband and mother, Mrs. Oncay is survived by one son, Brian C. Oncay of Spring City, PA and one sister, Deborah A., wife of Wilson Kauffman of Barto, PA. She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert W. Hemighaus, Jr..
