Obituary

Kathleen (Mulhern) "Kathy" Clark, age 73, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022 in the Paoli Hospital. Born on October 10, 1948 in Lansdowne, PA, she was a daughter of the late John J. Jr. and Rosalie (Callahan) Mulhern.

Kathy was a graduate of Cardinal O'Hara High School, completed her undergraduate studies at Immaculata University, and received her Master's degree from Villanova University. She was employed as a professor of French at Immaculata University for many years, and served as the chairperson of the Foreign Language and Literature Department for 12 years.

She looked forward to her annual trips to Ocean City, NJ, and held closely the fond memories of her trips to Ireland and Europe. She cherished her friendships, whether it was for trips to NYC to see shows, or the monthly gatherings with her friends from Immaculata. Above all else, however, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, and supporting them in whatever activity or sporting event they were participating in.

Kathy is survived by two children, Matthew L., husband of Theresa Clark of Phoenixville, PA and Kelly P., wife of A.J. Thompson of Spring City, PA; six grandchildren, Cameron, Olivia, Maggie, Lucy, Jace, and Mairin; three siblings, Patrick J., husband of Eunice Mulhern of Springfield, PA, John J. III, husband of Barbara Mulhern of Springfield, PA, and Colleen M., wife of Steve McGinn of West Chester, PA; many nieces and nephews; and countless friends and colleagues.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass in the St. Ann Chapel, 604 South Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. John J.
