Kathleen L. "Kathy" (Hess) Yusko, age 47, wife of Andy Yusko Jr., of Pottstown, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of Howard Sherman Hess Jr. of Spring City and the late Catherine E. (Slaughter) Hess.

Kathy was a graduate of Spring-Ford High School, and was a member of Royersford Baptist Church. She was a Girl Scout Cadette in her youth. Kathy worked at the Burger King in both Phoenixville and Spring City, the Wendy's in Royersford, and most recently at Giant in Royersford. Family was the most important thing to Kathy, and she enjoyed vacationing with them at the shore, especially Wildwood.

In addition to her husband and father, Kathy is survived by two daughters, Ashley N. and Jennifer L. Yusko, both at home; three brothers, Howard S. III, husband of Melissa Hess of Schwenksville, Barry C., husband of Lisa Hess of Philadelphia, and Gary L., husband of MarySue Hess of Ardmore; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Royersford Baptist Church, 452 S. Lewis Road, Royersford, PA 19468 on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Karen Ann Selig. Burial will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received at the church from 9:30-10:45 AM Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Royersford Baptist Church at the address above.
