Kathleen M. (Fulton) Schaaf, age 74, wife of H William Schaaf, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 12, 1951 in Davenport, IA, she was a daughter of the late John H. and Roseanne (Langford) Fulton.
Mrs. Schaaf received her bachelor's degree in English from the Mundelein College in Chicago, IL. She also graduated from the St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in Evanston, IL. Although she passed her licensure examinations and became a registered nurse, she spent the majority of her adult life as a homemaker, tending to her family and supporting them throughout their lives. She was an avid reader, loved to travel, and cherished the time she spent surrounded by her family.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Schaaf is survived by three sons, William Buck, husband of Devin Schaaf, Michael Langford, husband of Nikki Schaaf, and Thomas Lowry, husband of Jillian Schaaf; two grandchildren, Penny and Thomas; three siblings, Judy, wife of Mike Lennox, James, husband of Yuan Fulton, and Jennifer, wife of Thomas Mortensen; and a loving aunt on her husband's side, Matilda Schaaf. She was preceded in death by three siblings.
A private graveside service will take place in the Washington Memorial Chapel Churchyard in Valley Forge.
