Obituary

Kathleen P. Wagner, age 90, wife of the late Robert G. "Inky" Wagner of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born on March 3, 1934 in Norristown, PA, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Ratkiewicz) Pearson.

Mrs. Wagner was a graduate of Norristown High School. She primarily focused on raising and tending to her family and home, but she did hold several positions through the years. She worked as a secretary for the Pennsylvania Railroad, and while there, she was named Ms. Pennsylvania Railroad. She also enjoyed the time she worked in the antique industry, and she worked in retail for Ralph Lauren as a Polo specialist at Strawbridges.

Mrs. Wagner was an avid gardener, and she loved taking care of her flowers. She enjoyed reading, and along with her husband before his passing, and even recently, she often completed New York Times crossword puzzles and Sudoku puzzles.

Mrs. Wagner had a knack for decorating and creative designing, building beautiful wreaths during Christmas and creating personalized gifts for family, friends, and teachers. She was known for her holiday cookies and her famous, highly sought-after iced tea.

Mrs. Wagner loved spending time with her family, especially around her pool, and on vacations to the Outer Banks and the Jersey Shore. She left an impactful and lasting impression on everyone she met, and she was truly regarded as a mother-like figure to many. Her compassionate and giving spirit is a legacy she leaves for all who knew her.

Mrs. Wagner is survived by four children, Robyn L., wife of L. Stephen Keller, Robert G. Jr. "Boomer", husband of Valerie H. Wagner, Courtney J., wife of Stanley R. Briddes Jr., and Brooke A., wife of Edward C. Varney; five grandchildren, Lyndsey (Lou), Corey, Ryan, Lilah, and Clay; and ten great-grandchildren, Dylan, Lacey, Luigi, Gabi, Grady, Jackson, Ava, Grayson, Owen, and Milo; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five siblings, Jack Pearson, Harold Pearson, Priscilla Skidmore, Rosalie Keirsey, and Ronald Pearson.
