Kathryn E. Sabbi, age 82, wife of the late Edward G. Sabbi, Sr. of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at home. Born on September 18, 1938 in Phoenixville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth (Adorjan) Kovacs.

Mrs. Sabbi was a graduate of Conestoga High School, Class of 1957. She was an active member and former secretary of the Hungarian Reformed Church, now Parkside UCC, in Phoenixville for many years, serving as the President of the Women's Guild and Superintendent of the Sunday School. She always looked forward to making Hungarian foods and pastries with her mother. She enjoyed sewing, cross-stitching, and needlepoint. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially to Rehoboth Beach, DE. Most of all, she loved being with her granddaughter and spending time with her great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Sabbi is survived by three children, Kathryn A. Sabbi of Phoenixville, PA, Sheryl A. Sabbi of Phoenixville, PA, and Edward G. Jr., husband of Sue Sabbi of Phoenixville, PA; one granddaughter, Charie D., wife of Gabor Marosfalvi of Phoenixville, PA; two great-granddaughters, Kayla and Kristina; and two siblings, Joan K. Pali of Pottstown, PA and Albert Jr., husband of Barbara Kovacs of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Rosemarie DeNunzio and John Kovacs.
