Obituary

Kathryn P. (Michinock) Wilson, age 87, wife of the late Samuel R. Wilson, Sr., of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022 in her residence. Born on April 7, 1934 in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of the late Kathryn Evelyn (Rutter) and Frank Charles Michinock.

A graduate of Phoenixville High School and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Education program. Kathryn had been employed for many years at Spring City Knitting and Montgomery County Geriatric Home. A devout Catholic, she was a long time member of Sacred Heart and St. Ann Churches.

Kathryn enjoyed playing Bingo, trips to the casinos and fishing with her husband. She also loved baking and cake decorating and was lovingly known to her family as "Betty Crocker." Kathryn had a passion for sewing; having created many costumes and dresses, including a wedding dress for a doll and a colonial outfit for her son Sam's school project.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by daughters: Cindy L., wife of Joe McCurdy, of Bensalem and Sharon L. Wilson, of Phoenixville; grandchildren: Michael Krumenacker, III, Dawn, wife of Matt Ryan, Jennifer, wife of Mikey Wunderlich, Jimmy, husband of Brianna Steimer, Greg husband of Julie Wilson and Stephen Krumenacker; several great-grandchildren; and siblings: Joseph Michinock, of Phoenixville and Jeanette Buski, of Phoenixville. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by children: Patricia M. Krumenacker, wife of Michael Krumenacker, II and Samuel R. Wilson, Jr.; and siblings: Marion Bauer and Charles Michinock.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 10:00 am, at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville. Officiating will be the Rev. John J. Newns. Interment will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received from 9:30 am - 10:00 am Thursday.
