Katrina A. (Huber) Phillips, age 71, wife of the late Edward L. Phillips of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023 in her residence. Born on December 19, 1951 in Schenectady, New York, she was a daughter of the late Eleanor J. (Hoffman) and Robert D. Huber.

A Conestoga High School Graduate, class of 1969, Katrina received her Bachelor's degree from Virginia Intermont College, Bristol, Virginia. She taught at the Wooden Shoe at the Phoenixville YMCA and then later at The Vanguard School for children with special needs. During her time at The Vanguard School she continued her education and got a Masters degree at Immaculata college.

In addition to her love for others, Katrina also had a passion for dogs. Most recently, she had two pups who she simply adored - Jemma, and Baxter - both dogs from local rescues. She devoted time during her retirement to 'To Love a Canine Rescue' where she would help with adoption events, and interviewing potential adoption applicants.

Katrina enjoyed making crafts, completing puzzles and spending time with her family. She was loving, giving and known for having the kindest heart. She loved spending holidays and special events with family, especially the annual Fourth of July picnic . She was a great aunt to her nieces and nephews, but most important to Katrina was the love for her grandchildren, who affectionately knew her as "GiGi."

Katrina is survived by her children: Leann K., wife of Thomas Michael DiNapoli, Jr. and Rob, husband of Abigail Phillips; grandchildren: Kinsley DiNapoli and Elliot Phillips; sister: Nancy H., wife of Jeff Bailey; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 10:30 am at the Washington Memorial Chapel, 2000 Valley Forge Park Road, King of Prussia, PA. Officiating will be the Rev. Tommy Thompson. Friends will be received from 9:30 - 10:30 am at the Chapel.
