Obituary

Kaye M. Kimes, 75, of East Coventry, Pennsylvania, passed away on November 13, 2022, in Phoenixville Hospital. Born on June 11, 1947 in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late Hazel (Keeley) and Chester Kimes.

Kaye received her undergraduate degree and Master's Degree in Education from West Chester University. She had a long-time career as a math teacher at Coatesville High School and served as the girl's athletic director. She had been an active member of Calvary Bible Church in Phoenixville, where she was a beloved Sunday School teacher for many years.

Kaye was proud of the help she was able to give her father in raising their purebred beagle puppies. An avid sports fan, she was a supporter of both Owen J. Roberts and Coatesville athletics. Kaye loved gardening and had the absolute best strawberry patch. With her enjoyment for fishing, she looked forward to her yearly fishing trips to Canada.

Kaye is survived by several cousins: Lynnda Keeley Offner, David Keeley, Michele Keeley, Beth Keeley, Susan Sawchuk, Jacklyn Keeley, Kristen Weis, Ryan Schwab, Robert Schwab and Douglas Schwab.
