Obituary

Keaton K. Hauck, age 23, of Schwenksville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023.

Keaton came quietly into this life, the son of Kelly Storm (Hauck, Gatfield) and instantly filled the hearts of all those who came in touch with his infectious spirit on August, 14th, 1999, when he was born at the Reading Hospital in Reading, PA. Daniel Gatfield entered his life in 2001 and was a father by choice in Keaton's life.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Rhea A. Storm, maternal grandfather, Clinton W. Storm and by his grandfather by choice, George Gatfield, the father of Daniel Gatfield.

He is survived by his son Bailey Jean Merriwether, Bailey's mother, Faythe Merriwether, Keaton's mother, Kelly Storm (Gatfield) and her fiance and Keaton's friend Kevin DeLong, Keaton's father Daniel Gatfield and his three siblings, including his brother, David Hauck with his wife Nicole and their daughter, Riley; his brother Andrew Hauck; and his sister, Hayley Gatfield who shared "Keaton was the most attentive father, brother, and friend. The world will never know the beautiful soul that is and was my brother and the world needs more fathers, brothers and friends like him."

He is also survived by his Uncle Mark Storm and Aunt Andrea Storm and their two children Domonick Storm and Jozlyn Storm. On Daniel's side, he is survived by his Aunt Leslie Gatfield, Uncle Steve Gatfield and Aunt Kathy and Uncle Tob O'Brien.

He shared his free-spirited rambunctiousness and his love of music and nature with his son, family and friends through simple things like swimming, creek stomping and spending time together on the trampoline, around a bonfire or singing in the car. His vivacious spirit, charisma and astute sense of humor will be missed immensely. He had a huge heart for children, the elderly, those who were suffering and just simply missed his relationship with his maternal grandmother more than he could bear. He was an adoring brother, a doting father and loved attending theater and concerts with his family and friends. He was a bright light to all who knew him and he will be deeply missed.

Keaton was a graduate of Spring-Ford High School, and he was a dedicated installer for General Exposition Services in Limerick, PA.
